This show of vibrant reds was seen at the Peace Arch Historical State Park on the Canada Washington border one rainy afternoon. The recent rain and softened light of the overcast sky made all the late November colors of the park seem to glow. It's rare I get to see fall color as strong a vivid as this, and so I couldn't resist capturing all the lovely hues and textures. We had the park mostly to our ourselves (aside from the constant flow of traffic coming and from the US and Canada) with a lovely look out on the bay.
