The fiddleneck flower (so named due to the curving top that resembles, you guessed it, a fiddle) is a common sight in the western United States even in years with little rain. There's elegance in the way it curves and charm in the adorning small yellow flowers. This little scene, a lone rare white poppy and fiddleneck crisscrossing, was too charming to pass up.
